Stolen Kia car sold for N10, 000 in Ogun


An individual from a burglary pack, Jimoh Wasiu, on Thursday described how they stole a Kia auto and sold it for a pitiful N10, 000.

Mr. Wasiu, 37, made the exposure while being paraded before writers at the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, central command in Abeokuta, Ogun State.


He was paraded close by two different individuals from the pack, named Damilola Daramola (38) and Tunji Makinde (38).

Mr. Wasiu said the posse was framed in 2015 and had just grabbed two autos. One of the stolen autos was the Kia they sold for N10, 000.

He said the gathering had practical experience in grabbing autos and tricycles on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The Ogun State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who paraded the suspects, said the posse works on Lagos-Ibadan Highway.

Five suspected cultists were additionally paraded. They were blamed for threatening Ogijo and its environs before they were captured.

Mr. Oyeyemi said the cultists slaughtered a man at a filling station.

The police representative uncovered the personalities of the suspected cultists as Oluwatosin Mosaku, Tunde Adeleye, Olajuwon Kashimawo, Sunday Ajayi and Sharafa Oladipupo.

He said Mosaku, prevalently known as Mega Tea, was a famous cultist who had killed numerous individuals in Ikorodu, Lagos state, while Kashimawo was purportedly in charge of the demise of a-16-year-old kid that was killed on Tuesday at MRS Petrol station in Ogijo.

He said Ajayi, prevalently known as Egbere, had been on police needed rundown for grabbing a rifle from a police corporal at Oko-Oba in Ogijo situated in Sagamu neighborhood government range of Ogun State.
